Certain books can end up resonating with yourself and the world in today’s time. Such is the book called Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig. This autobiographical book is a mixture of real life experiences and life skills support.

After going through a period of mental health problems, when we start feeling better it may play on our mind how long these positive improvements will last. If you have been through a period of therapy, hopefully keeping up your newfound tools and techniques will help you to maintain your progress, but there are also other things you can do to help yourself stay well.

Although going to university is an exciting new experience, lots of things about it can seem quite overwhelming, whether you’re a returning student or starting university for the first time. New experiences like meeting deadlines and living in shared accommodation can seem challenging at first, but having tools to keep you well can help make it easier to manage daily stresses.

There are just over one million lesbian, gay and bisexual people living in the UK as of 2016, a number that has only been growing over recent years. It’s hard to guess exactly how many live in Telford & Wrekin, because people can often be reluctant to discuss personal aspects of their identity. If we assume it’s in line with the national stats then there are probably thousands in the area.

I don’t know about anyone else, but last night, watching the inevitable penalties, I was so wound up I was stood in my living room in front of the television, jogging on the spot. There was a lot of adrenaline flying over the pitch and over the country, but I don’t feel we every really stop to think about what that is and why it takes control of us, or how impressive it is when players do manage to keep their cool.
